CWLA Hosts Meg Whitman for annual Christmas Party and Board of Directors' Installation

We were honored to host Meg Whitman at last night's annual Christmas party and BoD Installation Ceremony. Last night's program honored Julie Vandermost as outgoing CWLA President for all of her hard work and dedication, serving as statewide president from 2004-2010.

I was also honored to be sworn in as CWLA's statewide president for 2011, only the second person ever to serve in that position. We were so pleased to see the support last night with over 150 attendees honoring Julie, supporting CWLA and showering praise on Meg Whitman.

Meg is truly such a classy lady! She has been so supportive of CWLA and we were honored to have her administer the Oath of Office to our incoming board. We are very hopeful that she will stay involved in CA GOP politics and we are optimistic that many of her 100,000 + MEGa women will stay involved in grassroots activism.
