CRP Convention

We had our State Board meeting led by Sara on Saturday morning in Sacramento.  I wanted to welcome the new members of our Board that attended Laura Peters ( she was in tough race in the San Francisco area, with only 15% Republican Registration ,she was able to get 17% of the Vote!! Way to Go.  We also had Sherry Hodges from San Diego area who is running for State Assembly 2012.  It was so nice to meet you and Welcome to CWLA Board!!

Health Care Tax Law - UPDATE

(March 8, 2011) A California Chamber of Commerce-supported bill to remove the state tax on health care coverage for certain adult children has passed the Assembly.



The bill, AB 36 (Perea; D-Fresno), conforms California with federal law regarding the taxable status of health care coverage for an adult child up to the age of 26, as well as payments or reimbursements made by an employer for an employee’s adult child.
